You don't need to be particularly worried in Praga (making me cringe hearing you pronounce it Prah-guh though) - especially if you've got very Polish-looking features such as yours! ;P What you need to be most concerned about is ending up in the wrong bar/nightclub in the centre of the city, getting your drink spiked by gangsters, your bank account being drained / pockets emptied, maybe a little beating if you're lucky - then ending up comatose on the pavement. Congratulations for your courage, I was curious if the dough was soft, because in Poland dumplings are cooked in water. I will tell you a story of how a friend was at a symposium in France. There was accommodation in the castle. The society was international and every day a group from a given country was to prepare a traditional meal for a given country. So the Poles decided to make dumplings, and to have more free time, they made stuffing in the evening and got to the ice-bed. The next day they wanted to make dumplings, open the fridge and an empty bowl with stuffing and consternation. They asked others what happened with the stuffing and there was a lot of it. They found that the group came hungry in the evening, they found something they ate the whole stuffing and said that they liked it. Of course, the Poles laughed and explained that it was only stuffing for dumplings and reassured them that it was everything was cooked, and their belly wouldn't hurt.
